Heaven knows the difference between Sunday morning and Wednesday afternoon. God longs to speak as clearly in the workplace as He does in the sanctuary.
Most of us spend our Wednesdays in an office, with a list full of tasks and deadlines. It might seem difficult for us to think of Wednesdays with excitement. However, this is actually possible when we work with pleasure, and find satisfaction in work well done.
On Wednesdays, when our motivation to work reaches the lowest margin, we should remind ourselves why we work and why working is necessary for our well-being. Work is essential to make a living, but also to give something back to the world, using our own innate gifts.
The road to a happy Wednesday goes through a productive Tuesday. When we split our tasks evenly throughout the days, we find ourselves in a comfortable and serene place, where work no longer overwhelms us, but rather excites us.
The recipe to having a great Wednesday or a great week is making sure we work a job that we love and which bring us joy and fulfillment. When we do things we love, nothing feels like work, and each day is a delightful journey.
The rules for a happy Wednesday are the same rules for a happy life. We need to work diligently, to stay true to our values and goals, and to respect others and treat them kindly. By doing these things, we welcome happiness and prosperity in our lives.
The success of each day doesn’t have to always be measured in results. It can also be determined by the amount of work done. Even if the results of our work don’t show up today, the work we do today takes us closer to the destination. That is what makes a successful Wednesday.
The thing that we need the most on Wednesday is a good reserve of inspiration to keep us focused, whenever our mind wanders towards the promises of the weekend. More than inspiration, however, we need to work hard and smart to keep things going.
As much as we would want, we cannot move Wednesday closer to the weekend. The only solution is to make Wednesday a holiday. A break in the middle of the week might help us regain our energy and increase our productivity.
There is nothing worse for our happiness than keep postponing things we want to do, waiting for a better moment. The best moment to start working on our dreams is today, even if today is a regular, ordinary Wednesday. Even Wednesday is better than someday or later.
Hello Winfred,
I just read your post “Wednesday Quotes To Motivate You On Hump Day” and I must say that it’s exactly what I needed today! Your collection of quotes is truly inspiring and has motivated me to push through the rest of the week.
I especially liked the quote by Roy T. Bennett, “Believe in yourself, take on your challenges, dig deep within yourself to conquer fears. Never let anyone bring you down. You got this.” It’s a great reminder to have faith in oneself and to keep going no matter what obstacles come our way.
Another quote that I found quite motivating was by Arthur Ashe, “Start where you are. Use what you have. Do what you can.” It’s a great message that reminds us to focus on taking small, achievable steps towards our goals rather than getting overwhelmed by the big picture.
Thank you for sharing such an uplifting and motivational post. I will definitely be referring back to these quotes on future Wednesdays to keep me going.
